Dry lay or do a mockup to confirm your layout, grout joint size and that the final look meets your expectations.

Q: What grout color to use with this tile?
A: Trying to decide on spacing and grout. Will those that have installed please post pix and info (grout line size and color/mfg of grout).A: We didn’t use any grout as this was used in a bar area. We liked that stacked looked without the grout.A: I used Bostik dimension onyx pre-mixed glass-filled grout from Floor & Decor. It's dark and sparkly just like the grout.A: We used a dark grey -
Q: How many 6 x 18 tiles are in one box and can they be cut like reg tiles? Vilna Argenta antique mirror tiles
A: There are 8 pieces per box of this material.
Use a glasscutter (score and snap) with a new diamond wheel for best results when cutting our glass tiles. Wetting the diamond wheel with oil before cutting will produce the smoothest cuts. In some cases it may be possible to use a wet-saw with a new, continuous rim diamond blade specifically designed for cutting glass. Do not use turbo or other notched blades designed for use with porcelain or ceramic as the teeth can cause a coarse cut, resulting in a heavily chipped edge. To cut angles without a wet saw or grinder, drill a small hole at the apex of the angle prior to cutting. In most cases, this will allow the use of a score and snap cutter and avoid small cracks that can happen at the angle. Cut edges and corners will be sharp. Always be sure to smooth the cut edges manually with a diamond hand pad or ceramic dressing stone. -
Q: What's the recommended adhesive for this & what are the tolerances between tiles?
A: We used Mapei mosaic and glass tile mortar.
Tiles were set 1/16 so a very thin grout line.
We also used black grout which I would not have thought would look nice but it’s perfect.
You just notice the tiles not the grout. It turned out gorgeous!A: We used pre mixed grout and 1/16th spacers.A: I had a tile guy install. It’s. 1/4 mirror tiles with perfect amount of antiquing. I can send you pics of my installation but that’s about as much help as I can be.
