These prized natural stones—gray-and-white Carrara strips with Nero Marquina accents—add more than just depth and visual interest to this mosaic. The highly polished stones elevate this collection, lending sophistication and elegance to any space—from a foyer to a mudroom.

A much-loved, classic tile

Embrace a classic look with the Trenza collection—a longtime tile of choice for kitchen and bathroom floors. A timeless, interlaced pattern gives the illusion of depth, calling to mind layered bamboo (or pastry) strips that weave over and under themselves. Trenza is available in two colorways: White Carrara marble with black dots and Asian Statuary marble with silver dots. A mesh backing simplifies installation.

Unraveling the basketweave

For centuries, basic baskets made of grasses, etc., have been woven using a simple basketweave (hence the name) technique. It features an over-one, under-one pattern, alternating from row to row. The same technique is used to decorate lattice-top pies. Trenza recreates the “old school” look with small strips and even smaller square dots cut from precious marble, giving the collection its timeless appeal.

When installing natural stone and marble tile, make sure all your products, substrate, tile, thinset and grout are compatible with each other. Inspect all materials before use and getting started. Dry lay or do a mockup to confirm your layout, grout joint size and that the final look meets your expectations.

Stone Products

As products of nature, dimension stone will have inherent variation in color, shade, and character, included markings and veining, throughout any given lot of material. Water Sensitivity – Green colored marble and serpentines can wrap or curl. Filled voids can polish differently from the actual stone it fills.
