To revamp the outdated entryway, B Studios decided on placing Asian Statuary Tile on the towers to cover existing brick. The creamy, dark veining worked in fluid movement with the steel exterior of the office, creating a brighter space. Required to keep the peach-toned floors, it was a visual match.

Since the inspiration was for a coastal feel, B Studios used our Reverse Sky tile on an accent wall in the interior of the building and was complemented by walls and floors in Dark Gray Marbela tile.

In the elevator space, our Do Up! Neutral can be seen on the walls. This beige tile helped break up the darker aspects of the design and complement the Reverse Sky tile that was a main emphasis for the design.

On the outside, TileBar’s Ventura Bianco Matte was used on the floors and columns of the main entrance. The tile was chosen for its durability and ability to withstand the elements. For the floors, the designers used a herringbone pattern helped to break up the design, and keeps things a little more interesting.

When it came to the lobby, the concept of keeping things modern and light was the focus; that’s why they knew that the same Marbella Perla 12x24 Porcelain Tile used in the mailroom would brighten the main walking area, too.

To make things welcoming in a central area, B Studios chose our Estia Perla Muretto 12x24 Tile for the border of the mailroom. The team cut the tile themselves to make it smaller to fit into the scheme better. Additionally, the raised height of the border created the illusion of more space. On the walls, our Marbella Perla 12x24 Porcelain Tile was used; While on the ledge of the mailbox a marble look tile was placed for a touch of sophistication.

Since the elevator is an area that gets a lot of foot traffic, and packages are delivered to residents from here, the decision to choose a tile that was both durable as well as long-lasting was front-of-the-mind for the team. In the end, our Linden Dark 12x24 Porcelain Tile was chosen since it’s atmospheric while being both durable and low maintenance.
