3. In order for us to continue to be able to offer affordable pricing, a 15% restocking fee is assessed on all returns. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Customer are responsible for return shipping charges and arrangements.

When installing ceramic or porcelain tiles or mosaics, make sure all your products, substrate, tile, thinset and grout are compatible with each other. Inspect all materials before use and getting started. Dry lay or do a mockup to confirm your layout, grout joint size and that the final look meets your expectations.

Q: what is the best grout color with sand dune tile?
A: We normally recommend our Laticrete Permacolor Bright White Grout or Laticrete Permacolor Silver Shadow Grout.A: I used matching grout--not white--and it looks fantastic. I recommend getting a sample tile and matching grout as closely as possible. -
Q: Is there a bullnose tile to go with this?
A: Yes and I did use their bullnose and it turned out great.A: We recommend our Montauk Sand Dune 2x8 Mixed Finish Ceramic Bullnose. -
Q: Can this be used on a shower floor?
A: I used this tile for a kitchen backsplash and plan to use it in an upcoming bathroom remodel as the shower enclosure walls. I would not personally use it on the shower floor. Q: What grout color do you recommend using with sand dune?
A: I mixed the sand color with a light gray by the same manufacturer so I used a light gray grout that looks great with the sand color.A: I used a sand color and it looks wonderful but I think you could use almost any color. The tile is beautiful and would look great with almost anything.A: We purchased the matching grout, but any off white will be fine. Q: Have Montauk tile for backsplash,should whole tile be sealed,or grout lines only?What sealer is best?
A: I don't think the tile itself needs to be sealed, but I don't think it hurts to seal it. Painting the grout lines would be problematic, so I use a sponge on the whole thing. I have this in my shower, so it was sealed immediately, and I reseal it every year. I use 511 impregnated sealer - it's available at Lowes.A: I sealed all behind my sink. The rest of the backsplash I did not seal anything. I have had mine for 3 years and it still looks great. I do have it mixed with another tile.A: The tile has a glazed finish. I put them close together not using spacers. Then used a color matched non sanded grout which gave it a very nice look. I have never sealed the grout. It's been 3 years and no problems.

A Smooth Experience During a Stressful Renovation
