Making your own cleaning solution
Here’s a quick DIY cleaning solution you can whip together with things you already have in your pantry. (See, we weren’t lying, it’s cost-effective and easy!). This solution can be used for white grout in kitchen backsplash or white grout on bathroom floor.
Here’s what you’ll need to get things shining:
-7 Cups Warm Water
-⅓ C Baking Soda
-⅓ C Ammonia
-¼ C Vinegar
-Sponge or Toothbrush
-Towel or rag
Here’s how to get your white grout shining again
- Step 1:
Mix together all ingredients in a bucket.
- Step 2:
Wet your sponge or toothbrush into the mixture.
- Step 3:
Start to scrub the white grout lines with your tool of choice.
- Step 4:
Finally, rinse the area and wipe dry with a towel or rag.
Note: If the stains or dirt aren’t coming up easily, then you can place the cleaning solution on the grout and let sit for about an hour. Then, rinse and dry.
That’s all it takes! A little bit of mixing, scrubbing, and you’re set for 6 months.
