Q: Could this tile be used over an electric radiant floor heating system?
A: Yes, our Cosmos Carrara & Moonstone 4" Hexagon Marble Polished Mosaic Tile is suitable for this application. -
Q: How do you get the colors to pop like the sample shown with the slippers and soap bar? Â Does the stone sealer bring that out or do you need to use a color enhancing stone sealer to get the colors like that? Â The original unfinished mosaic picture seems to be very mono-chromatic and faint colors.
A: Hey Joe, Since the Cosmo is a natural stone it will have some variation in color and hue from sheet to sheet, but it will look like the picture with the slippers all on its own, no sealer needed. Never fall for a photo on your monitor, it won't show you the real color or texture of anything. We have this on our bathroom floor (about 3 years now) and it is brilliant and beautiful, nothing additional needed.A: Just used white grout. The color in the tile is exactly what you see in the picture.A: I have this tile in my shower on the floor. Never been treated or sealed (I installed it) and it looks exactly like the picture with the slippers. There will always be batch variations but that is my experience. -
Q: Can this be used for the shower floor?
A: This tile has the following suitable installation areas; Backsplash, Floor Tile, Kitchen Floor, Kitchen Wall, Wall Tile, Bathroom Floor, Bathroom Wall, Shower Wall, Shower Floor, Outdoor Wall, Commercial FloorA: We have just installed it in our bathroom floor and shower floor. I contacted TileBar and asked the same question and they responded "yes". It's beautiful! It was well worth the wait since it was back ordered.A: Yes. We have used this in 4 showers. It is a good shower floor tile. -
Q: Can I use this on a shower floor? Thanks
A: Yes, this tile can be used on a shower floor. -
Q: Any updates on when this will be back in stock?
A: I would recommend calling the customer service center at 888-541-3840 for an ETA on this product. You can also place a pre-order for the product, if the ETA is within an acceptable time table.

Fun Floor Tile
Beautiful tile but the small pieces especially where the hexagons meet pop out super easy. It's also very hard to level nicely.

The tile is beautiful however we had some problems with the craftsmanship and the quality control of the boxes.

Good to bad
On the front end of the experience working with Tilebar is enjoyable. The design center, sample program make it easy. However, the back end of the experience is noteworthy for another reason, disgruntlement. I ordered a box of tile to take sampling to the next step. I spectacled Teke if the return was free and was assured "yes". I asked for a shipping label to return the box only to find out there's a 15% fee. I need to bring this to her attention before I place the order for the whole job.
