Q: i dont see an option for tile size selection. Spec page shows several but when you click and add no option provided for tile size?
A: The sizing is referring to the collection, which has different shapes and sizes. That specific tile just comes in one size, but several color variations. There are other arabesque style tiles in different sizes on the website. Don’t be afraid to order a sample...I love THAT tile though.A: 10.25x11.5inches, it’s a fairly large tile, looks great!A: There is only one size. These are large tiles. They measure 11” across at the widest point and 9” in length. They are gorgeous and I was surprised when I got them they were large and not the smaller tiles I expected since no dimensions are listed, but I am so happy with my decision. I used them as backsplash in my kitchen and as accent tile on the wall in my bathroom. Q: Can you use Pine-Sol or Bleach to clean this tile?
A: Highly recommended to purchase the Polished Porcelain Maintenance Kit. Porcelain tile is resistant to germs and bacteria and it is also among the easiest of flooring materials to clean. You can clean your porcelain tile with a damp sponge mop. A solution of 1/4 cup of white vinegar to 2 gallons of water works best – allow time for drying. You can also sweep or vacuum. Although porcelain tile is by definition impervious, it is still possible for its surface to discolor. The following instructions explain how to clean porcelain tile surfaces.
For glazed porcelain tiles, use the following instructions for general cleaning:
Sweep or vacuum loose dirt and dust from the floor. An untreated dry dust mop is recommended instead of a broom.
Mop the floor with a mild cleaning solution (do not use wax, oil-based, or abrasive cleaners).
Rinse the tile thoroughly with clean and clear water.
Drying is also recommended – to increase the shine and to prevent water spots.
Always Remember:
Do not clean porcelain tile flooring with ammonia or with cleaners that contain bleach and/or acid. Acid and ammonia based cleaners may modify grout color.
Do not use wax, oil-based, abrasive cleaners, or sealants.
Agents that contain any dyes or colors are not recommended.
Use rugs at entrances to prevent dirt and grit from being tracked onto the tile flooring from outdoors.
Do not use steel wool pads, because loose steel particles may create rust stains in the grout. -
Q: I love this tile, but as a early 60's individual, I have to make sure any tile I would use would not become too slippery when wet. Will this work on a bathroom floor for someone like me?
A: Why can’t we buy more than just 5 of them???A: This tile has a DCOF ofA: This tile is not very slippery, it is somewhat rugged and we’ve never had a problem with slipping. -
Q: would this work on kitchen countertop?
A: We do not suggest this material for countertop installation. -

Q: Does this tile have pencil trim? Thinking of doing two bathrooms with it on the walls as a wainscoating?

Alternatively, there are a couple other techniques for edging the tile. Two common options are edging the tile with a Schluter strip (which you can grab at your local Home Depot or Lowe's) or lining the tile with a clean caulk line that matches the color of the grout.A: Not that I've seen in the Cavallo collection. We made a pencil trim from wood that looks very nice. Do know that you will have some variation in grout lines with this tile, it is handmade. -

Loved how this tile turned out in our kitchen! It's a really unique size, and the length feels like it helped add length to our kitchen visually. Shipping turned out good, with the boxes being well-packed and with very few broken pieces. It's been really easy to keep clean so far. The only downside was the tile not having a matching bullnose for trim. Luckily, we don't have many edges needing trim in our kitchen but if you do then I'd recommend trying to find a matching bullnose to add some polish.
