Q: Are these tiles made with lead free glaze?

Q: How many tiles in a case? How much for case? Shipping to west coast?

Q: We are finishing a bathroom in a 3 season barn home - would this tile be okay over the winter? It would be indoors, no exposed to water, but no heat. We live in New England.
A: Yes, it should be fine in a cold room. I have mine in a shower room and his been no problem.A: I don’t see why it wouldn’t be good even if there’s no heat in the building. It’s a good quality tile and it worked beautifully as a backsplash in our kitchen. We’ve gotten a lot of compliments on it. -
Q: How wide a grout line 8×8 tile?
A: I also did a 1/4" grout line and used it on the bathroom floor. It's a really beautiful, primarily blue tile with accent shades ranging from olive green to purple. I go back and forth with purple towels and blue towels but if you want a really dramatic look try towels in a red (that leans toward a touch of purple). And I think the uneveness of the surface gives it a really striking and organic look. Sorry, more info than you asked for ... good luck with your project!A: Yes, I did a 1/4" grout line as well. I used it on the bathroom floor and LOVE it and have had many compliments. It is beautiful!A: We did about a 1/4 inch. I wouldn't use it on the floor, it really isn't level, which we liked for texture on the wall -
Q: I want to use this on a wall behind a wood stove. Will the heat hurt it?
A: The tile will not act like a heat shield so the wall will get hot. The tile would be find but the framing in the wall would be at risk, which is why your wood stove needs a heat shield.A: I have had them in my kitchen for quite a while now and they seem to be holding up just fine :)A: It will be fabulous. I have this tile in another pattern behind my gas stove! -
Q: is this tile heat resistant?
I'd like to use it on a fireplace.A: This material is suitable for installation on a fireplace surround, however this is not suitable within the hearth/firebox. -
Q: What is the P.E.I. on this tile? And what is the absorbency?
A: The water absorption is >10% -
Q: I want to use this tile for the shower. What tile would go well with this on remaining bathroom floors and a tile for the floor?
A: Hi, Cheryl. I'm going to be totally honest with you here ... I would not recommend this for your shower. I think it's just too dark. In fact, I happened to be watching one of those house hunters shows that had it on the walls of the bathroom (not the shower). I recognized the tile but did not like the look at all. I think lighter walls with the darker floors looks better. That said, that's totally my opinion and you may simply prefer the darker wall. But trying to work with your preferences I would lean toward a stark white contrast and a plain white tile floor.. For your shower floor I might suggest a tile that I wanted but was out of stock when I needed it. It's a small white hexagon with just a bit of blue around each tile edge. I think you'd want a light colored shower floor and this tile could give you that and bring in just a bit of that blue from the walls. Hope this helps!!
