This is for my backsplash in my kitchen. I will run a couple of courses of ledger with it. Just the right combination of sleek and rustic!

Kitchen cabinets are glossy white and counters are medium grey. I wanted to contrast it with a frosted white backsplash. The sample of Loft super white was perfect!
Heather B on Oct 26, 2015
Nice bright white color whereas other tiles we looked at had more of a blue or brown tone

It's so beautiful! The sample looked gorgeous, and none of that "green-ish color" that I've seen on many other white glass tile reviews. Plus, this website is awesome. So many other websites look so sketch! I'm confident that this transaction will be awesome.

How do you cut this tile? Is there a special cutting tool required?
Miguel T on Apr 5, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I didn't install the tiles myself, so I can't answer with the specificity I'd like. But i can tell you that the tile installer did say that they were very difficult to make small cuts in, e.g. to fit around a light switch or outlet, We only used them for a partial backsplash, two tiles high, so didn't deal wiht this problem I would ask a tile installer--or, it seems like the people at this website should be able to answer this question. (They are beautiful, though, I will say that.)
what is the best setting material for super white frosted 4x12 tiles glass tile adhesive or epoxy ?
Alan C on Apr 22, 2015
BEST ANSWER: We recommend using a white modified thinset.
Installation
Substrate: Tile must be installed over a suitable substrate to insure a proper installation. Glass tile should be installed over a clean, sound, and flat surface, free of contaminates including curing compounds. Substrate should be free of cracks. If used in a wet area you must waterproof. See manufacturer’s recommendation on a membrane for crack and water protection that is compatible with the setting material you are using. Glass is reflective therefore any inconsistencies in the substrate will result in a poor installation. For pools and fountains we recommend installing a mortar bed according to TCA P601-98. EXPANSION AND CONTROL JOINTS PER TCA EJ171-05 Expansion joints should be installed at all “changes in plane” in the tile work and where tile abuts restraining surfaces, therefore silicone caulking sealant must be installed in all corner joints in place of grout. Installation: To avoid affecting the color of glass tile, White modified thin-set such as Bostik Glass Mate is highly is recommended for all installations. A second option is regular tile wall glue. Grout joint should be a minimum of 1/16” and not butt set. Apply thin-set using a trowel as recommended by the manufacturer. Apply as much adhesive as can be covered within 10-15 minutes. Once set in place gently tap using a grout float to insure full bedding and a true surface. Grouting: Grout joints should be packed full and free of voids and pits. Clean excess grout as the work progresses before it has hardens completely. Acids should never be used for cleaning grout haze. Use a damp sponge for the final cleaning and to smooth out the grout joints. When grout is completely cured a grout sealer should be applied as recommended by manufacturer. It is recommended to use Non-Sanded Grout. Cutting: Tile can be cut using a wet saw with a diamond “cut-off” blade. Edges can be sanded smooth after cutting.
