It is for a kitchen backsplash and will have white grout. Thanks!BEST ANSWER: We set the tiles as close together as possible using no spacers. Could not be happier with it. We chose a beautiful wood look gray porcelain tile called Centurywood in Dune, and its absolutely stunning. (NOTE: we chose to keep the grout pure white so that it really is a beautiful neutral). Why is non-sanded grout recommended for this product? My granite has a lot of gray, black and brown plus cream. My cabinets are off white/cream. Modern Farmhouse/Country French theme. Difficult to see how yellow the vanilla is.BEST ANSWER: I would definitely recommend the Lancaster subway tile as a backsplash for white/grey carrara marble counter tops. The bianco tile is plain white and the vanilla has an ivory hue. I would also advise ordering a sample of each so you can see the actual tile before you make your decision.
Tile must be installed over a suitable substrate to insure a proper installation. Tile should be installed over a clean, sound, and flat surface, free of contaminates including curing compounds. Substrate should be free of cracks. If used in a wet area you must waterproof. See manufacturer’s recommendation on a membrane for crack and water protection that is compatible with the setting material you are using. Expansion joints should be installed at all “changes in plane” in the tile work and where tile abuts restraining surfaces, therefore silicone caulking sealant must be installed in all corner joints in place of grout.INSTALLATION
