When installing natural stone and marble tile, make sure all your products, substrate, tile, thinset and grout are compatible with each other. Inspect all materials before use and getting started. Dry lay or do a mockup to confirm your layout, grout joint size and that the final look meets your expectations.

Stone Products
As products of nature, dimension stone will have inherent variation in color, shade, and character, included markings and veining, throughout any given lot of material. Water Sensitivity – Green colored marble and serpentines can wrap or curl. Filled voids can polish differently from the actual stone it fills.

Q: What type of cleaner should I use for this tile?

Q: Do you carry any Asian statuary tile with rounded / beveled edges? I would like to use it for the top of a shower stall curb but would not like to have hard edges on the outer corners.

Q: Can 3x6 polished be used on shower floor? Or will it be too slippery? I have very small bathroom and limited in choices.

Q: What is the thickness of this tile please?
A: This material is 10mm thickness. -
Q: Does this tile need to be sealed if I were to put it in my bathroom? I would like to put it in the shower
A: I would absolutely seal this tile, it is a natural stone and marble is soft and absorbs stains easily.A: I don't think so, I put It as a backsplash in my kitchen, we put the recommended grout by tilebar and it works great.A: This tile should definitely be sealed.

Not White!
I loved the clean look of this tile, but it's not very white. The background is a light gray and the veining is dark gray. I spent more than I should have buying extra boxes to try to find tiles that had a whiter background, but they were all basically light gray. Other than the color, they are beautiful and easy to keep.

Our success story with this marble 5 stars
First order 30-50% more so you can pick out good sheets that look great. Then use frost grout from MAPEI Ultrcolor Plus FA with matching caulk. Seal three times with 511 Impregnator sealer. Apply thin layers and wipe off fast. Finished product was just unreal beautiful. Grout did not scratch surface at all and their was zero haze on tile after application. This is a beautiful marble and the frost grout was just perfect as the tile is focal point of the end product. Hope this helps many who want a high end finished job.

Very pretty marble option
Beautiful tile. We used this in our guest bathroom (which is not yet complete) for the floor (not the shower floor) and the baseboard around the walls with Schluter brushed chrome edging. Laticrete bright white unsanded grout. It's not polished but not completely matte looking.
Two notes if you choose this stone:
First, remember that marble is very soft, so I'd say don't use spin-down floor spacers. It will take extra work but use the wedge type spacers to avoid scratching your marble.
Second, as others have mentioned - go through your boxes then sort and choose the tiles that match up the way you like. Do this in bright sunlight. Our boxes had a lot of variation, as you can see - some had a white base and some had more of a greyish or even a tinge of cream base. All have a bit of an iridescent cream veining in addition to the grey veining. I sorted through all of them and used the whitest ones with the least veining as baseboard and the ones with moderate veining for the floor. Some have heavy veining only on one side, or very heavy grey veining throughout. This isn't necessarily bad, it's just something to be aware of. As others have said, don't just lay the stone in the order you take them from the boxes, or you may not achieve the result you're imagining.
We're super happy and plan to order two more boxes (we had extra) to update our powder room floor once this gigantic project is done. -
